What We Believe

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth, and The Life, and the only way to The Father is through Him and Him alone, as stated in John 14:6. We believe to become born again, you must have a revelation of Jesus Christ and therefore a personal relationship with Him. Such a person will desire to nurture that relationship by assembling together with a body of believers, as stated in Hebrews 10:25. All disciples of Christ are born again, but not all those who are born again are disciples. Being a disciple of Christ requires the laying down of your life daily, coming into true covenant with Christ Jesus, and submitting your will to the Father and His desires for your life. A disciple is a life-long learner of Jesus Christ. As you abide in Christ, He will abide in you. John 15:4

Five-Fold Ascension gifts

We believe in the Five-Fold Ascension gifts listed in Ephesians 4:4-13. We believe that God gives every believer the gift of either an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, or teacher. An Apostle, along with Church Prophets, build the Church according to Ephesians 2:20. An apostolic ministry makes disciples with the goal of raising up all five gifts. We have many evangelists, pastors, and teachers who use their gifts in various ways in our community.

Gift of Tongues

We believe in the gift of tongues. We believe God gives this heavenly language to any believer who desires it. It edifies us as believers as 1 Corinthians 14 states.

Hebraic Calendar

We believe in following the Hebraic Calendar. Because Jesus followed it, we too follow its months and many of its practices. It’s not that we have to practice them, we are blessed to practice them. We recognize many of the festivals and, in particular, we celebrate Passover.

Community

We believe in community. We believe God established us in Wrens, GA for the purpose of establishing His Kingdom on Earth. Our mission is to tear down the strongholds of poverty, racism, and godless religion in our city and the surrounding areas.
