What’s Your Frame of Reference?

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” (Hebrews 11:3).

Checking out of line I wished the clerk a Happy New Year. She said, “Anything is got to be better than last year”. Her outlook and tone of speech seem dismal at best. I mustered up a reply by saying, “It will be!” I left the store thinking how we frame the reality of our lives by the words we say.

As you start off this year and this new decade consider how your words frame your life. Align your thoughts and words with the Word of God; and begin to speak it out of our mouth! Gloomy thought give way to gloomy words. Negative words or saying nothing at all doesn’t change any situation. Don’t become spiritually lazy and get lax with what you say. Be confident and hold onto a good profession, which brings a great reward.

When God spoke the world into existence He did not see the chaos present but the light that would come. He said, “Let there be light” and there was light. If you desire your present circumstances to change speak by faith for to see it manifest. God’s spoken Word makes things complete as a frame makes a picture complete. Faith perceives something you see with eye of light not darkness. You speak what you see into existence; may you frame your world with the Word of God.
