Son Shine Bright

…the sons of God, without rebuke, in the middle of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as lights in the world (Phil. 2:15).

God is a builder. He uses living stones to build His house. Like Jesus, these stones are sons too which He chooses and calls precious. God, our rock is higher than we are. But we are rocks as well shaped from the spiritual DNA we inherit from our Father through His Son Jesus Christ. In essence, we are “chips off the old block” resembling our Father in His character and shining disposition.

When the time is right, God takes us from the noisy quarry of conflicts and strife to the palace of the King. Through the fire, He leads us, polishes and makes us shine. Because we are living stones, we cry out to God and praise Him for all He is doing. Though we face rejection of man, we know that our Lord Jesus suffered the same and became the chief cornerstone of His house. God places us just where we belong in His kingdom in direct alignment with Christ and each other. God’s desire for all humanity is to become His sons.

Sons of God shine brightly in the darkness. Light bearers for sure who guide and expose danger to whosoever will see. The Lord does not want anyone to perish or fall in this life whether they belong to Him or not. He is love, a God of mercy, ready to forgive and accept anyone who turns from slavery to sonship in Him. God’s house is enormous! It’s big enough to give place and purpose to all His sons, those already home and those who are coming. Lost? Find a real son of God, and he will lead you home.
