Problems, Purposes and Promises

Though the mountains move and the hills shake, My love will not be removed from you and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says your compassionate Lord (Is. 54: 10).

What is the problem you are facing now? Have you considered that behind every problem there is a purpose? Many of your problems come from how you look at things. The challenge before you may not be problematic to others because they see it through different eyes. What is looming large in your life may be only a small thing to some else. God is teaching you to not “sweat the small stuff, ” and in His perspective, everything is small stuff.

If you focus on your problem instead of God you will despair and dig a pit for yourself. The difficulty will increase, and the promise of God’s help will lie limp in your heart. God vows to assist you in every situation. If by faith you activate His promises you will come out of every terrible situation with a new outlook. Problems create opportunities for you to become the person that you are capable of being, bringing God glory, and benefitting the world.

Storms are part of life. You are either in one, approaching one, or just coming out of one. When you give your life to Christ, every trial you go through will make you better, not bitter. God designs them to shake you of everything that is holding you back from enjoying an abundant life in Christ. No matter how hard the shaking the Lord’ love on you will remain and as you mature His peace will become your peace.
